In the context of color, the word symphony refers to a harmonious and visually pleasing arrangement or combination of colors, much like a musical symphony is a harmonious combination of sounds. 

Symphony is a dual series of photographs featuring two distinct looks, both styled and curated by me. I wanted to create a vibrant, playful but also cohesive and articulate environment to continue experimenting with colored lighting and finding ways darker complexions can be enhanced in digital photography.

Through this process, I’ve deepened my understanding of how to properly expose and light darker skin tones—an essential skill that not only improves representation, but enriches my ability to authentically capture the full spectrum of skin tones as they appear in real life.
